Last week the application period for the 6th edition of BLOOOM Award by Warsteiner started, giving young creatives the incredible opportunity to show their work to an accomplished jury and the chance to get a start in the international creative industry.

The first edition of BLOOOM Award by Warsteiner was hosted in 2010 and was initially launched as a nationwide competition within Germany. After a great success the competition expanded and from then on artists and creatives from all around the globe were able to participate. Those who do will get the chance to show what they are capable of to an international jury composed of Catharina Cramer (owner of Warsteiner), Yasha Young (curator and freelance art journalist) and Walter Gehlen (director and artistic director of ART.FAIR and BLOOOM). It’s the stepping stone for emerging creatives and a huge prospect for everybody who wants to take their work/career to the next level. With prizes like an exhibition at the BLOOOM – the converging art show, a year-long mentoring support through a member of the jury, to travel with jury member Walter Gehlen to Miami for the Art Basel Miami Beach and a creative-premium to the amount of €1,500 it will most definitely be worth your while.

The art competition sponsored by Warsteiner is part of a long family tradition in art and design. Warsteiner who has always had a big interest in supporting and acknowledging young and upcoming artists also has a fair deal of collaborations with some amazing artists, like Ceizer and de Jeugd van Tegenwoordig. So not only do they brew beer, but they’re also a huge inspiration to the creative industry.

If you’re interested in taking part in this competition please apply here.

Good luck to everyone who will be participating in this years BLOOOM Award by Warsteiner.
