“Strandlines” is a generative single-channel video installation by artist/filmmaker Michelle Higa Fox. Digital waves go back and forth across 400 pounds of sand. The waves correspond to local tides, and no two waves are ever the same. Often, you see installations that are meant to be unique to the viewer due to a personal connection or perspective; however, this is truly a unique experience for each person to witness a new wave.
