Sofie Winterson‘s has released a new video for her latest single ‘River’. The video is produced & directed by photography duo Petrovsky & Ramone, who have previously worked for Vogue and artists like M.I.A.. Petrovsky & Ramone found their inspiration in the 1960s German top model Veruschka, known for her extravagant usage of make-up to blend into nature and give expression to a kind of melancholy mood such as the song does.

The video was shot on beautiful Lanzarote, a volcanic Island off the Spanish coast, where Sofie is portrayed as her own version of Veruschka. Sofie’s debut album ‘Wires’ will be released on Magnetron end of this summer.
