Christmas easily is one of our favourite holidays here at Blendbureaux and smart must feel the same way, as they decided to celebrate this cosy holiday by teaming up with five influential Instagrammers – one from each of the following cities: Berlin, Amsterdam, Vienna, Sao Paulo, and New York. Each of them will tell us their personal Christmas story and for Amsterdam smart chose fashion blogger Negin Mirsalehi to document her Christmas in the Dutch capital. Negin’s story and those of the others will be posted on their respective Instagram feeds as of tomorrow.

Negin’s Christmas story is – how appropriate for a fashion blogger – all about finding the perfect shoes: she needs spanking new heels to celebrate the holiday season. In true Amsterdam fashion, she chose to go shopping on a bike – in this case the smart ebike, which is super functional and gets you through Amsterdam in one of the quickest ways, thanks to its beautifully integrated lithium battery with a range of 100km and a cruising speed of 25km/h. The smart designers have thought of everything, from brake regeneration (energy is recuperated whenever you apply the brakes) to a connection port for your smartphone.
