Yesterday Lana Del Rey premiered the 27-minute-long short film ‘Tropico’ in Hollywood. The film was directed by Anthony Mandler who also directed her video’s ‘National Anthem’ and ‘Ride’. The 27 feature includes the songs ‘Body Electric’, ‘Gods & Monsters’ and ‘Bel Air’. The narrative starts of with Lana Del Rey hanging out in the garden of Eden as Eve, frolicking around with Adam (model Shaun Ross) a snake and an apple. Jesus, Marilyn Monroe and Elvis also make an appearance while Lana (now as Maria Magdalena) sings away on ‘Body Electric’. Watch the video to see what happens next.
