Finally the trailer of Lana del Rey’s passion project, a 30-minute short film called ‘Tropico” directed by Anthony Mandler, has just been released.

Starring alongside male model Shaun Ross, Lana’s character is the Eve to his Adam, with the film reportedly being a “biblical story of sin and redemption”.While the trailer does not feature Del Rey’s singing voice at all, her songs “Body Electric,” “Gods and Monsters” and “Bel Air” all appear in the half-hour epic.

So far however, we have this stylised trailer in which LA seems post-apolocalyptic in an extreme magical-scary kind of way, honestly, a present for the eyes. We will have to wait till the 5th of December to enjoy the entire piece.
