David Bowie is the new star appearing alongside Arizona Muse in the latest Louis Vuitton campaign video L’Invitation Au Voyage directed by Romain Gavras, provocateur director of MIA’s Bad Girl’s and ‘Born Free’ fame. 

The video has many resemblances to the Ballroom scene from 1986’s movie Labyrinth, where David Bowie interprets Jareth (the GoblinKing), directed by Jim Henson. In this scene, Sarah (Jennifer Connelly) is transported to a masquerade ball, after eating the peach from Hoggle.

Similarly, the new Louis Vuitton scene seems a modern day configuration of that scene, where in this case is Arizona Muse the one who is transported to that mysterious dance.
