Skater-skirts, mid-calf socks, 5-panel caps and lots of white pieces are the protagonists in this inspiring collection. Designer Simon Porte Jacquemus favours boyish girls, with an excellent appropriation of buble gum taste and pastel pink ice cream sweetness in his clothes. Following the rithm of Game Boy music mixed with tracks by French eighties duo Elli et Jacno, and presented in Paris’ largest game arcade could not be cooler. An excellent reinterpretation of Parisian rave party, full of club and blogger kids, “j’aime la vie”.
