Celebrity culture is huge. Everybody just loves to know what’s going on, who’s doing what, where and when. On a daily basis we are bombarded over the Internet by images of celebrities. Most of the time this imagery is highly edited, making sure the star depicted looks at its best. Indeed, it must be hard to be in the spotlight constantly. Stars are often only photographed from a certain angle – literally showing off their best side. It’s a twist on reality. Artist Danny Evans was pretty frustrated over this re-touched reality and decided to re-touch the images in reverse – erasing all the glamour that makes a celebrity.
