The second edition of Unseen Photo Fair & Festival Amsterdam takes place in Westergasfabriek on 26-29 September. Unseen is an international photography fair with  focus on undiscovered photography talent and previously unseen works by established photographers.

Unseen distinguishes itself from other fairs by only exhibiting new photographic work and by emphasizing upcoming talent. Unseen has selected galleries from all over the world, that embrace the concept of emphasizing new photography. The confirmed galleries will show an extraordinary image of the contemporary and future photography landscape.

Unseen is also a meeting place for art professionals and art lovers who want to discuss artistic expressions and ideas. The fair is expanded with a programme ranging from inspiring readings and debates in the Unseen Speakers’ Corner, to haunting films in the Unseen Cinema and special expositions such as Unseen Exhibition, Unseen Collection, Bright Young Things Pavilion, and Foam Magazine Talent Exhibition. Unseen combines all of the elements of a traditional fair with those of a festival. Visitors will be immersed in a world of new insights, experiences and adventures.

Co-directors Marloes Krijnen, Pjotr de Jong and Roderick van der Lee commented: “Following the fantastic success of the inaugural edition of Unseen, we are looking forward to Unseen 2013. We are confident that the 2013 edition will be even stronger, will bring more quality and will bring unseen photography to the international stage. The developing programme of festival events, including the Unseen Collection, the Blockbuster exhibition, the Unseen Dummy Award, and the full roster of talks and film screenings, will surely make this edition of Unseen another photography fair with a festival flair!”
