Poor Lady Gaga had to recently undergo serious hip alignment due to an inflammatory joint infection in her hip, which forced her to cancel the remainder of her Born This Way tour. She however turned the unfortunate situation around by hiring jewellery designer Ken Borochov in creating a 24-karat-gold-plated wheelchair. Nobody disclosed how much Gaga paid for the chair but according to current exchange rates, the chair’s gold weight clocks in at nearly $2,600 on its own. Not sure if Gaga will ever actually use it as it doesn’t really feature the usual technology a normal wheelchair has. But we might see it once she continues her Born This Way show. In the meantime she posed in the wheelchair for Terry Richardson.
