Forever Still

Fist of all, if you haven’t checked out the music of Baltimore based dream pop band Beach House – a slow Monday morning is the perfect opportunity. The duo Victoria Legrand and Alex Scally have created 3 full length albums by now, and for Bloom their latest, they now created a special short film called Forever Still. The short film directed by Max Goldman features 4 songs of the record and was shot in Tornillo and El Paso Texas.

On their website they stated the following about the video:

“Before releasing Bloom, we decided that we would only participate in ‘promotional’ activities that we could control artistically and give substantial energy. We had previously been involved in too many live sessions, radio tapings, photo shoots, etc., where the outcome was far below our personal artistic standards.

Forever Still is directly inspired by Pink Floyd’s Live at Pompeii. We wanted to perform in a non-typical setting without losing the spirit of our music. We felt the songs would resonate in a more majestic and spiritual landscape.”
