WEBCAM TEARS
What is it that we don’t do in front of the computer? We Skype with friends and family, we read, we write, we dance, we cybersex, we eat, we surf, we fall a sleep in front of the computer, and so on. Yes, and we also cry with our computer – endless tears of sadness. The tumblr Webcam Tears features videos of people crying. The project initiated by Dora Moutot was inspired by artist Laurel Nakadate who recorded her sadness for a year in a project entitled 365 Days: A Catalogue of Tears. Moutat invites the world to share their tears with her through this project. Until now it’s been primarily girls though. Where the hell are the crying boys?
