Artist and performer Nick Cave (not this Nick Cave, but this Nick Cave) is going to fill up Grand Central New York with a flock of his renowned Soundsuits in the shape of horses. Grand Central has seen many flash mobs and now even has an Apple store but never did an artists work grace the magnificent hall. Heard•NY will take place between 25th and 31st of March, and probably will have the biggest audience a live artwork ever received with Grand Centrals annual visitors of 21,600,000. When not activated the equestrian Soundsuits will be exhibited in the Vanderbilt hall. The performance piece is a small preview of an upcoming exhibition in the Denver Art Museum, which opens June 9th. Below a video of a previous Heard performance at the University of North Texas.
