Stephanie Herr is a German artist who creates ‘Topographic Fine Art’. The starting point of her work are cartopgraher’s drawings. Using landscape models Herr’ combines photography and sculpture, which ensures photography can extend beyond the two-dimensional plane. The sculptures are mostly made of cardboard and paper, cut with a sharp knife. The works might look rather simplistic, but they take weeks of meticulous labour to be created.
