In the center of Italy there is a designer who does not like to waste any materials. When she thinks about fashion, she always remembers to take care of the planet. Her name is Eliana Venier, and with her brand Alienina she makes use of poor and discarded materials to create handmade wonderful contemporary jewels.

It is not by chance that fashion designers such as Comme de Garçons, Sara Coleman and Hope recognized her talent, including in their collections and runaways Alienina’s pieces. Rubber, sailing ropes, fabric for umbrellas and cotton wicks for petrol lamps are just some of the unusual materials that are transformed into beauty through Alienina’s hands, to extend the life cycle of the objects.
