Heavenly foam

If there’s one thing I love, it is kinetic art. Also installation art. And foam. So this piece by Michel Blazy called ‘Bouquet Final’ definately tickles my fancy. The installation has been placed in a 13th century Cistercian monastery in Paris, where the moving organic bubble shapes clash wonderfully with the static architecture. Blazy is no stranger to foam installations, he has done two before at the Palais de Tokyo in Paris. With his work he tries to explore aspects such as time, space and body, using the short-livedness of foam to underline the uncertainties of the human condition.
