Wind oil

Designer Dave Hakkens likes good food, made with proper ingredients. Cooking homecooked meals is one of the ways to ensure this, and making your meals from scrap. Unfortunately this can take some precious time.. Therefore Hakkens decided to turn to a typical Dutch force in order to create homemade products that require less time. Creating a windmill that grinds different types of nuts, Hakkens is able to create pure natural nut oil, waiting while the wind does all the work. 

After the machine is finished grinding the seeds or nuts, a protein-rich pulp remains, which is perfect for cooking. Because the machine does not require any heating, the oil is cold pressed, which means it is healthier and has more flavour! Good food can be this simple. View the process below:
