Michel Vanderheijden van Tinteren and Roel Moonen work together as a duo under the name ‘Les Deux Garçons‘. They studied autonomous arts at the Academy of Fine Arts in Maastricht. The art that they create is often called absurd due to obvious reasons when viewing a piece. They use various materials that they source from flea markets, antique dealers, taxidermists and the local supermarket. With a mixture of humor and absurdism, they confront the beholder with there odd imagery.
