American Apparel hearts Denim

American Apparel is announcing the launch of its Men’s Jeans: Regular 100. This new style, which hits stores worldwide this week, is the most recent addition to the highly successful denim line American Apparel premiered earlier this year. Designed, cut, sewed and washed at American Apparel’s facilities in Los Angeles, the jeans re-establish California’s rich history of denim manufacturing: a dark resin denim with a classic 1950s cut.
“We’ve come up with a truly authentic pair of jeans -something the market has lacked for a long time. The fit and styling is the result of extensive testing and feedback, which when combined with American Apparel’s obsession for quality and my 30 years of experience in denim, makes for the perfect men’s jeans,” said Georges Atlan, director of denim at American Apparel.
Unlike many of American Apparel’s “unisex” products, the Regular 100s are designed specifically for men. Their relaxed fit, with a tapered leg intended to hit right above the shoe, means they’re classy as well as comfortable. The men’s jeans are available in sizes 27-36. For the launch, a limited edition run of 1,000 pairs with a special hang tag will be available at American Apparel stores nationwide. The jeans can also be ordered online.
