Surface to Air opened their first American boutique in the heart of South Soho, New York City. Complementary to their Parisian flagship store, the 2500 sq. Ft. space was designed in collaboration with architect Federico Masotto, reflecting the DNA and aesthetics of Surface to Air: Marble, Concrete and Wood.

The store, located at 27 Mercer Street, opened in celebration of Fashion’s Night Out. The opening also was host to the launch of “Mr. Rager”, a short musical film directed by Jérémie Rozan, founder of Surface to Air.

Like their Paris boutique, the NYC boutique carries their full Men & Women’s collections, as well as their special project collaboration products; currently the S2A x Kid Cudi leather jackets and platform pumps designed by Leigh Lezark. In March 2012, a collaboration with Kim Gordon from Sonic Youth will be launched.
