Following the success of the DFC Taco Shack and Homeslice pizza boys, they’re upping their gourmet game at 18 Hewett Street, London with a 8-day pop-up supper club by The English Launderette. Opening today, 1st October, the folks behind Rock Lobsta and Disco Bistro are prepping a re-imagined Best of British feast, with a nod to the past and a wink to the present.

The 6-course tasting menu may be cryptic – “The Savoury” and “The Mixed Grill” – if the tasting session last week is anything to go by, you should expect the unexpected. If that’s not enough to whet your appetite, there’ll be a coin op cocktail bar and Lily Vanilli with her trolley full of desserts every night.

For £49 you’ll be greeted with a straight up awesome 6-course meal, a “Glass of Juice” (we’re not sure what it is either) and a curated selection of natural wines. Tickets are available from the website below, so book now before they sell out and please leave your dirty washing at home:
