London Fashion Week Special : Technomoto

The LED mask using technology developed by NASA to get rid of lines, wrinkles and acne, is just as fashion forward as Nasir Mazhar’s S/S12 collection. The NASA LED rays are said to improve skin condition. Besides this interesting tidbit it also fits in the current S/S12 trend of the motor craze.

With Prada’s collection being inspired by car prints, looking like Xzibit pimped Prada’s ride, Nasir Mazhar’s rude boy mask and Alexander Wang’s motocross collection, it seems that it’s time to buy a motorbike.

The combination of space age design, street culture and slick, almost futuristic, 60’s designs is a trend to be reckoned with.

Daishin Seiki’s 3D printing is said to take over the world and could mean that millions of people in the rag trade will be redundant. When looking at some of the designers at this year’s London Fashion Week however, it looks as though this revolutionary technique was used for quite a few collections, creating a glistening metallic ultramodern obsession.
