HUMAN ERROR

Household is a London based artist collective, founded by George Wu and Sarah Gottlieb, that creates diverse products in a variety of disciplines used in the creative industry. Collaborating with product designers, art illustrators, architects and interactive designers, their projects range from creating installations, events, workshops to even publishing books.

Above you see a video of the series of installations called HUMAN ERROR. It’s their latest project and it was on display during DMY Berlin. This project was also their first one ever to be exhibited, at the Chinese Art Centre in Manchester from February 17 until April 30. With the videos being in black and white, the installations are not only a wink to the offices but also to the fifties. In particular the way that the manuals are written and shown they could have been fifties commercials.

Besides all the above Household initiated three pop-up Poundshops, selling stuff made and designed by artists for one pound. Recently they confirmed that there will be a Poundshop number four in 2011. Follow The Poundshop on twitter to hear the latest news.
