Robert Montgomery

Robert Montgomery is a London based artist of a different kind, a poet and a street artist in one. He treats his poems as if they were paintings or better yet graffiti pieces, as he places them illegally on billboards covering advertisements. Montgomery graduated of Edinburg College of Art in painting and holds a master in Fine Arts. He has had several exhibitions such as in Nuke Gallery in Paris and the Margaret Thatcher Projects in New York amongst others. Starting in 2005 with his project WORDS IN THE CITY AT NIGHT he spreads the concept of misuse of power. It makes his poetry melancholic and leaving you a bit sad about the contemporary world.
