A couple of weeks ago, we informed you about the upcoming Strawberry Earth Film Festival, an annual film festival for the best international, environmental films and documentaries. During this festival the launch of the first European Green Film Making Competition will take place. The goal of this competition is to take the film industry into the future, by making it greener. Talented film makers and directors are challenged to produce a short movie in a sustainable way.
Dutch actrice Thekla Reuten will be the ambassador of the Green Film Making Competition, and influential film parties, such as Binger, VERS and the Eye Film Institute are involved as well. The contestants can win a prize of twenty thousand euro and the award for Green Film Maker of the Year. The winning films will be shown at the Strawberry Earth Film Festival of 2012.
