As from this month there’s a new online gallery. The Unruly Gallery is an online space where you can view exhibitions and buy exclusive t-shirts, books, artwork and silk scarves.

Niels Meulman (Shoe) founded Unruly Gallery because of his personal experiences through exhibiting in several galleries. The galleries could not offer what he needed so he started his own gallery. His main goal is to focus on the individual artist instead of the movement or school.

The gallery is not completely accessible from the web only; there is also a physical space in Amsterdam. The Unruly Gallery’s first exhibition – a group show including the work of Wayne Horse, Parra, Dr. Rat, Mode 2 and Nik Christensen amongst others – will take place here on the 27th of May for invited guests and for public on May 28 and 29. After that the gallery space is only open for buyers who make an appointment.
