During the Arnhem Fashion Biennial (May 31 – July 3) versatile brand The People of the Labyrinths opens concept store The Livingroom. In The Livingroom all of their products and ideas come together in their world. Besides their SS 2011 collection they show interior design, photography, perfume and vintage of their own archive.
The People of the Labyrinths’ (POTL) spring/summer 2011 collection explores the microscopic life. A lot of the prints are inspired by genetic codes from nature. In this collection POTL uses fine materials like knitted fabric and woven silks alternated with manually painted leather and sequins. The womens clothing line has an innovative a-line and the colors range from red to see blue. The prêt-a-porter for men mainly contains the materials linen and silk with the colors moss-green and navy blue.
