Last Friday, Subbacultcha opened a new exhibition at the magazine’s Amsterdam-based exhibition space. This month’s featured artist is photographer Qui Yang (1981). Yang creates highly stylized still-lives and portraits that focus on remarkable details. He carefully composes his pictures and has an extraordinary eye for color and structure. After having exposed in Berlin and Paris, the Dutch photographer is now displaying a selection of his work at Subbacultcha’s gallery. On display through May 27 at Da Costakade 150, Amsterdam.
