From May 27 until July 17 De Brakke Grond is showing work by fourteen talented photography students from the Netherlands and Flanders. In the exhibition (Re): TILT, they will show how we try to retain control in the chaos that seethes around us.

Last year, arts courses based in Breda, Antwerp, Brussels and Ghent cooperated intensively with the photo festival BredaPhoto. The underlying theme then was ‘Tilt’: the tipping point reached when a personal, political, economic or ecological crisis goes too far. From all of the students, fourteen were selected whose work had been seen at BredaPhoto 2010. De Brakke Grond supports this cooperation, and is therefore giving these photographers another opportunity to review their work, add to it and to show it in Amsterdam. Opening of the exhibition will be on Thursday 26th of May, at 19h00.
