Alexander McQueen \ Savage Beauty

To honor Alexander McQueen and his work The Costume Institute organized the exhibition Alexander McQueen: Savage Beauty in the Metropolitan Museum of Art (MET), New York. This exhibition contains hundred of his designs and seventy of the accessories he designed. The designs range from the first collection he presented during his study at the Central Saint Martins in 1992 to his last collection for AW 2010/11. The bumster trouser, the Origami frock coat and pieces that reflect the silhouettes of the late 19th century and mid 20th century are some of his amazing exhibited designs. The exhibition runs until July 31.
