PechaKucha on the Road

Tomorrow another interesting and inspiring night takes place at the smart urban stage in Amsterdam: a special PechaKucha night, devoted to supporting Japan. Eight great presenters can hardly wait to share their work, ideas and inspiration with you in 20 slides of 20 seconds.

In order to support the victims of the earthquake in Japan, this edition will be part of the international PechaKucha Inspire Japan initiative. In April almost 100 PechaKucha cities around the globe are organizing special charity nights. In Amsterdam money will be raised with a special PechaKucha lottery during the event. Participants can win great design and art prizes donated by former PechaKucha presenters, companies and other creatives!

All lottery tickets are 2 euros and will be sold before and during the event. The organization received a large number of great prizes from Sonos, Nalden, Bjarke Ingels (BIG), Hanazuki, and DUS Architects, amongst others. Check out their Facebook page for the prizes.

Presenters are Rodger Beekman (60 Layers of Cake), Jos de Krieger (2012 Architects), Luis Mendo (GOOD Inc.), Theun Karelse/Cocky Eek (Boskoi), Sandra van Egmond, Melle van den Berg (De Speld), Arnout Visser and Linda Braber (LimiTee).
Breaks will be filled with drinks, funky tunes and visuals by Merel Das aka Blackbird Badger. Doors open at 20:00, PechaKucha starts at 21:00. Be there!
