BLEND Magazine’s co-founder, creative co-director and photographer Wouter Vandenbrink created a beautiful video called Corridor for the presentation of fashion designer Jan Boelo’s Fall/ Winter 2011 collection. This collection is inspired by Tim Burton’s film Sleepy Hollow. The video – a concept by Vandenbrink – represents this idea perfectly with its ghostly images and the red distortions throughout the video. The song Drum Mode – by Gray, the band that Jean Michel Basquiat and Vincent Gallo set up – is a typical New York noise from the eighties. The song strengthens the already tensive atmosphere in the video, with all the scratchy sounds and perfect rhythm.
