Dagmar S/S 2011

Dagmar is a Swedish brand and, as we are used of the Swedish, they are
excellent in combining fine materials with sophisticated shapes and
must-have designs for the season. This week they’re adding the Dagmar high
summer collection to the spring/summer 2011 collection.
The inspiration for the complete collection comes from the slums in Rio de
Janeiro, with its contrast between the harsh life of the Brazilians and their
unbreakable spirit and sensuality.
The vibrant lust is shown in the colorful designs. The architectural
cubist shapes are formed in the tops and dresses. The nude, pale and pasty
colors are inspired by the concrete, sand and water nuances of Rio. The
bird is a spill in their collection, it symbolizes the dreams and the
ambitions of mankind.
The collection is in stores now and available at Azzurro Due, Angel Basics, Concrete, Nummer negen, Tamago, Zondag, You are Here, Bellucci, Ansh46, Noi, Enes, YOUR, Maaike Kleedt and at the webshop orangebag.
