Party photography: annoying, in your face and sometimes quite embarrasing. Beelddragers however, proves it can be done differently. Beelddragers initiates, organizes and selects images and places these in exhibitions, film and concepts. They selected 6 young up and coming photographers that make high level party pics. Event photography is no longer the joke of photography.

Dennis Duijnhouwer, Dennis Swiatkowski, Catharina Gerritsen, Robbie Baauw, David Koppelaar and De Fotomeisjes show a whole new level of event/ party photography; experimental and advanced. Too bad these works are only published on their facebook profile or hidden blogs. Beelddragers takes these photos out of their scene and displays them in a exhibition called SCENE.
Each photographer has a unique style and covers a certain scene they live and party in. SCENE does not only show the different ways Amsterdam goes out at night, it also provides a sneak preview of the next generation photographers.
The exhibition opens this Friday April 15 at gallery De Wittenplaats in Amsterdam.
