LOMOGRAPHY LOVES JAPAN

Lomography

Swiss camera brand Lomography has designed three gorgeous new cameras in order to support and respect the people in Japan that are in need after last month’s tragedy took place. Before the disaster struck, Lomography’s design team was working on a special edition dedicated to the Golden Week in Japan. After the tsunami, the brand decided to launch the edition but add a charity aspect to its campaign.

Three cameras were created, the Diana Mini JIYU (which means ‘freedom’), the Diana F+ KIRAMEKI (‘sparkling’) and the Fisheye 2 SHIA- WASE (‘happiness’). To give financial aid, Lomography will donate 20.000 Euros to the Red Cross. The Red Cross will use the donation on site to while, on the side, Lomography is involving its extensive community in various online actions through its Lomography Loves Japan initiative.
