Amsterdam-based graphic design duo Pinar&Viola is currently exhibiting a series of artworks that go by the name of Diva Opaque \ Anonymous Guardians of Intimacy, at a home gallery called Schrank8.

Diva Opaque is a collection of found images belonging to scarf_whiz80. Pinar&Viola discovered the bewildering collection on the internet by accident, and fully embraced scarf_whiz80’s skillfully crafted, uncanny vision. The images vary from snapshots, carefully manipulated pictures and photomontages, all portraying veiled divas. Scarf_whiz80 glorifies the headscarf and manifests the veil as an obscure object, shielding beauty from the beholder.
