The Helvetica Detector

Helvetica

New York-based graphic designer/visual artist Eunah Kim came up with several remarkable concepts she worked out in the funniest ways. One of these projects that caught our attention is The Helvetica Detector. Because Eunah Kim felt the need to prove that Helvetica is the most ubiquitous typeface we know, she created a ‘scanner’ with which she checked each person walking into the School of Visual Arts in NY. Every article that contained Helvetica type, she’d confiscate and put in a glass showcase. Check out her portfolio here and view more images after the jump.
