On the 8th of April an exiting new exhibition opens at MU, called The New Psychedelica. It revolves around the impact of the Internet on our minds, modes of communication, creativity and even physiology. The Internet is a phenomenon with an unprecedented strong effect on our society. And in the aftermath of it there is of course a wave of artists trying to make sense of our relationship to technology and the internet. The New Psychedelica, specially curated for MU by Francesca Gavin, brings together new works by fifteen internationally upcoming artists. It is the first exhibition that demonstrates how this work can be seen as a 21st century redefinition of psychedelic art. Check MU for the participating artists and more info.
