Finale Done in Sixty Seconds 2011

Last Sunday, the finale of the Done in Sixty Seconds 2011 competition took place at Amsterdam’s Ketelhuis. In order to enter the competition, aspiring filmmakers had to create a 60-second imitation of a classic movie. Tough job? Well, some of the competitors actually managed to bring across the essence of the story. During the night, all thirteen submitted videos were screened by an audience and a professional jury consisting of Anna Drijver, Gijs Kerbosch, Jan Doense and Victor Ponten.
Afterwards, the jury decided on a top three with the winning submission, a 127 Hours remake, coming from Maeve Stam. She won a trip to London and automatically entered the international finale of the Jameson Empire Awards, which will take place on March 25. 1st place: 127 Hours by Maeve Stam
