Next week, 5 Days Off, the electronic music festival based in the city center of Amsterdam, takes place once again! The two most renowned music venues Paradiso and Melkweg host the annual festival which doesn’t only focus on electronic music but also on a diversity of art disciplines which manifest in the ever evolving club culture. For this program called 5 Days On the festival also collaborates with the Dutch Institute of Media Art, NIMk.
Several disciplines such as film, photography, and art are given a platform and complement the cutting edge music program of 5 Days Off. From the 2nd until the 6th of March you can pay a visit to audiovisual performances, talk shows and photo exhibitions which will inspire you to interact and experiment.

The exhibition Cloud Sounds in NIMk, Paradiso and the Melkweg has already kicked off. It presents a wide range of contemporary art that was build up by public participation, often through social media. Most of the works on display are audio oriented and complete the DJ, VJ and remix culture of 5 Days Off perfectly.
Cloud Sounds is on display until the 29th of April.
