Peek behind the scenes of Onitsuka Tiger
In the video presented above you’ll get a peek behind the scenes of Onitsuka Tiger’s production process for the AISEN collection. This line of shoes is manufactured according to traditional Japanese methods. During the process, natural materials are dip-dyed by hand in pigment from indigo plants to create soothing blue shades. This is where the collection’s name comes from: AISEN stands for indigo (AI) and dye (SEN). Makes sense? Cool to see how the dying process works.
Check out the freshly released AISEN shoe called the MEXICO 66 DX, dyed according to the traditional process and finished up with brown detailing.
