Walter van Beirendonck F/W 2011

During Paris Fashion Week, Belgian designer Walter van Beirendonck presented a collection of ‘classic men’s fabrics clashed with fantasy things’, as the designer himself stated. The silhouettes, the colors, the textiles, the makeup, the awesome suits, the ponchos and the African models that were found in a street casting left the audience in awe. Men in skirts have never looked more quietly chic. Van Beirendonck added his surprising signature in the colorful knitwear, bright shoes and shark-mouths painted on the models’ faces.
