At BLEND’s Hq, this man is considered one of the most intriguing icons of popular culture. According to us, Serge Gainsbourg (Paris, 1928 – 1991) was the master of charisma, the king of style and one of the most credible womanizers of all time. Sultry but true, rude but honest, arrogant but deliberate; Gainsbourg certainly had his ways.
This lover of many intoxicated almost every single woman he laid eyes on. After a brief romance with Brigit Bardot he fell for the charmes of Jane Birkin, with whom he had a child; actress and singer Charlotte Gainsbourg. There are way too many interesting articles, videos and photographs of Gainsbourg available online for us to present you with a brief recap of his life. Nevertheless, we thought we’d share a selection of our favorite Gainsbourg fragments.
