Every single month, magazine Subbacultcha! hosts an exhibition that features work of an emerging artist. After a successful first edition, which contained the work of photographer Irene O’Callaghan, it is now time for round two. Exhibition Ex Vivo features a series of images created by Ashkan Honarvar.

Honarvar’s detailed illustrations and collages depict several interpretations of the human body and animal silhouettes. Most of his pieces are executed in black ink and pieces of precisely cut-out paper. Ex Vivo will be on display from February 8 – 25 at Subbacultcha!’s Amsterdam-based project space located at the Da Costakade. Free entrance.
