Last night at Pakhuis de Zwijger a special edition of the New Talent Night took place. Even though it was pouring with rain, a group of ambitious young creatives showed up to present their work to a number of interesting masters. In addition, a ceremony for the ABSOLUT Talent Award 2011 took place.

This edition seemed to attract a remarkable number of photographers, everywhere you’d look you could see the most stunning images spread out on tables or neatly organized in shiny portfolios. During the night a special award ceremony took place. For the ABSOLUT Talent Award 2011, 9 masters each presented 2 talents who are working their way up to the top.

This year’s nominees were Monique Eller, Rachel de Joode, David de Zwart, Liza Wolters, Gumnaam, Paul Geusebroek, Tim Enthoven, Niels Hoebers, Roel Welling, Achie Akkabi, Marga Weimans, Michael van der Ham, Chico Kenzari, Lennart Verstegen, Anne Geene, Isabelle Wenzel, Fresku, Alain Friedrichs.

But of course, there can only be one winner. The jury decided to give the award to Eindhoven-based illustrator Tim Enthoven because of his unique style, great work and exceptional drive and determination. Aside from a huge bottle of ABSOLUT and a subscription to BLEND Magazine, he won a feature in the upcoming issue of BLEND Magazine. Congratulations Tim! Check out more of his illustrations below.
