Designer and photographer Hedi Slimane presented an unusual series of images, focusing on upcoming musician Sam Adams. The two met in a barbershop in Los Angeles and Slimane decided to follow Adams around and capture some key moments on his way to the top. Adams, also known as Wiz, is a 21-year-old hiphop producer from Boston who started making music and doing shows while attending college. He’s still enrolled in school, even though his fan base has grown impressively over the past months and he’s working on a debut album with Matthew Williams (creative director of Lady Gaga and Kanye West).
