David Bowie last night released his second video for the song The Stars (Are Out Tonight) from the forthcoming album The Next Day. The video features actress Tilda Swinton and David Bowie as a married couple that are disturbed by a celebrity couple next door – played by models Saskia de Brauw and Andrej Pejic. The celebrity couple is clearly a re-imagining of Davids earlier days – where Brauw plays Davids younger doppelganger. Whether Andrej is supposed to represent a younger Angie Bowie or Tilda isn’t entirely clear, but towards the end things get pretty freaky with Tilda. Couldn’t decipher all the fashion items that are featured in the video, but in the beginning shot Tilda is clearly sporting a pink coat from Raf’s autumn/winter 2012 Jil Sander collection. All in all quite a fantastic video directed by Floria Sigismondi and shot by Jeff Cronenweth.

British photographer Craig McDean did a David Bowie inspired shoot with Tilda Swinton back in 2003 for Vogue Italia, where she sure does look like the female version of  him. Check out the shoot below.
