As of today Vanessa Matic, our friend from NYC, will delight BLEND/ with a monthly poem on life, love, travelling, music, etc.. Vanessa Matic describes herself as a 22-year old poet/hustler/muse/model from New York who turns life into a story. She is currently working on her first poetry book called Animal Abstract, for which she also creates hypnotizing videos and visuals.
THE COLOR OF VIOLENCE
Red roses thorn in my side
Red roses tender and alive
Red rouge on my open lips
You smear my rouge red
The color of violence
I stare at you nothing
but obscure silence
Wait, to fit you like a glove
Bait, to have you like a slave
Everyone can be tamed
Your hand over a kiss
The color of violence
Puts us back in silence
I see your face
Everywhere
It turns me on
Everything vibrates
and moves in colors
Kaleidoscope
In my eyes if we’re
alone you’ll know why
A phosphorescent blur
in your face
You’re so fucking beautiful
No mistake
Don’t let me dream about
you
When we crash we paralyze
I’ve been watching you move
Your dark eyes crawl on me
I want to stay I want to leave
Make me believe in a deep
dark dream make me see
beauty wild in you and me
The shades and shapes on the window
from rain
Ones from morning sun white sheets
unmade
That hate brings the love
Feel it escape into trust
Change is in only lust
A phosphorescent blur
in your face
You move over me a shadow that covers
and enters right thru my body into my belly
into my chest I won’t rest until I need sleep
You pierce yourself to my side holding my
body and face the world is on fire it moves
with me
My eyes see red as I open them after the dark
I was so high above I am slowly coming down
Strangeness obscure and unmanaged
Behavior the color of violence puts one
back in silence
Make me want you make me move with you
perfectly
I’m amused
What is true the tender touch of rage
Turn of another page it is life itself
Intense no cage just rage the fascination
Love assassination
