Lapdog
Vanessa Matic has a new piece of poetry for us. Read it here.
LAPDOG
I don’t like parties
I don’t like too many crowds
All I like is writing and sex and art
My poetry my whores and my loves
Filled with scent of sex and music, sex
and sweetness
Limbs tangled like intricate petals
Like the mind blind full of knowledge
Knowledge we sometimes haven’t even
lived through
Illusions like the sun on the run
Under clouds like the weather
Wether it will rain or snow
I just don’t know
I’m your lap dog I run laps all night long
Then leave like a street dog when I feel
afraid or worried or when I feel thrilled to
chase what’s in the wind
What’s in the wind but sour kisses and
misses one cannot reach
